Yoga before or after Running..? Women Health Magazine

QUESTION:  For runners, when is it best to do yoga – before or after running.

ANSWER:  Before Running, it’s best to improve your range of motion and elongate your muscles with dynamic movement / yoga.  

After Running, more static yoga postures (holding for 30 seconds) will help with recovery and relaxation of tight muscles; as well,  the reduction of lactic acid and inflammation.
